Who we are

Alliance of Broadcasters is founded by Georgian regional TV and Radio broadcasters with years of experience and practice of broadcasting.

The non-governmental organization goal is to provide high quality audio-visual content to the audience in the regions of Georgia, inform and educate population and help developing democratic processes in the areas beside capital, by strengthening regional media in country.

Regional TV stations:

  • Imereti region

TV Rioni – 30 years of Broadcasting history – Kutaisi and all the municipalities of the region Imereti.  Wide coverage in western Georgia, with around 600 000 audience.

TV Argo – Zestafoni,  Terjola and Kharagauli municipalities. Audience in coverage area: 185 000.

TV Imervizia Broadcasting history starting from 1991.  Coverage area: Tchiatura and Sachkhere municipalities, with audience around 38 200 persons.

Mega TV – Imereti region with audience around  300 000, with diverse social-political programing.

TV Zari – Samtredia municipality, including all the villages, with audience around 25 318 persons.

Mtjheta-mtianeti Regioan

AgroGaremo TV – Covers all the regions of Western Georgia and in addition Dusheti and Mtskheta municipalities. TV broadcasters’ niche is agriculture, environment, health, with audience around 256.770

  • Adjara region

TV25 – Covers Adjara region: Batumi, Kobuleti, Ureki,  Khelvachauri through the terrestrial, Satelite and cable signal.  With audience around 687.592 persons.

  • Samegrelo region

TV Odishi – Fully covers region of Samegrelo, partially  Svaneti and Abkhazeti regions, with audience around  300 000 persons.

TV Ninth Wave – broadcasting area: poti and Kolkhetiplain, with audience around 50 000.

TV Kolkheti 98 Coverage area: Chkhorotsku local broadcaster, with audience around 45.000 persons.  

TV Egrisi – Senaki local TV Broadcaster. Covers full municipality including villages, with the audience around 40 000 persons

  • Guria region

TV Guria  – The only local regional broadcaster in Guria, With audience around 250.700 persons.

  • Kakheti region

TV Tanamgzavri – Broadcasts in Telavi and Lagodekhi, with more than 50 000 local audience.

TV Gurjaani –  Coverage area: Gurjaani municipality and surounding villages, with audience around 30 000 persons.

  • Shida Kartli region

TV Dia/ TV Mediamonitoringi – Coverage area: almost 80 % of theGori, Khashuri, Kareli and Mtskheta-Mtianeti municipalities, with around   400 000 audience.

TV Trialeti – Broadcasting area: Gori, Khashuri, Kareli, with audience of 626.77o persons  

  • Kvemo Kartli region

TV Marneuli – Broadcastign  area:marenuli municipality, with bilingual broadcasting programming for ethnic minorities living in the municipality.  Audience of around 100 000 persons.  

TOK TV  – http://toktv.ge/   – the only Russian languge Georgian broadcaster, wich broadcasts in regions of Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-javakheti, satlled by ethnic minorities.  With audience of 285.890 persons.

TV4 – Broadcasting Area: Kvemo Kartli region, with audience around 128 800.

TV-radio Bolneli Broadcasting area: Bolnisi municipality, with audience of56 000 persons.

  • Samtskhe-Javakheti region

TOK TV  – http://toktv.ge/   – the only Russian languge Georgian broadcaster, which broadcasts in regions of Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-javakheti, satlled by ethnic minorities.  With audience of 285.890 persons.
